1. Who we are

2. Availability

The app is distributed worldwide except France. If you are located in France, please do not download or use the application.

3. Data we collect

• Approximate Location (on-device only). Used locally to show weather in the Weather widget. We do not transmit location to our servers or third-party services.
• Anonymous Usage Analytics. We use Amplitude to understand feature usage (e.g., which widget types are popular). The data contains no names, email addresses, advertising IDs, or precise geolocation.

4. How we use that data

• Render weather information for your current area.
• Improve stability and design by looking at aggregated, anonymised metrics.
• If you deny Location permission, the Weather widget simply hides the forecast.

5. Legal bases (EU / CCPA)

• Legitimate Interest — for fully anonymous analytics that help us improve the app.
• Consent — you choose whether to grant Location permission. Without it, the Weather widget shows a static fallback.

6. Data sharing

We do not sell, rent, or otherwise share any personal or analytics data with third parties. Amplitude acts only as a data processor on our behalf and cannot use the data for its own purposes.

7. Storage & retention

Amplitude retains anonymised event logs for up to 24 months, after which they are automatically deleted. No other data is stored off-device.

8. Your rights

If you are in the EEA, UK, or California, you may:

• Request access, correction, or deletion of analytics data linked to your device identifier.
• Opt-out of analytics at any time in the app’s settings.

9. Children

The app's content is rated 4+ on the global Apple App Store and “AL” by Brazil's ClassInd—both ratings indicate suitability for all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal data from users under 13 (COPPA) or under 16 in the EEA. All analytics are fully anonymised, and no personal identifiers are stored. Parents or guardians who believe we have inadvertently collected such information may contact us at [email protected] for deletion.

10. Changes

We may update this Policy. Any material changes will appear here and inside the App Store update notes.

11. Weather data source

Weather information is provided by the OpenWeather API. The forecast data is © OpenWeather Ltd., used under their free API license. We do not store or share this data; we simply display it in the widget.

12. Age rating

The app carries a 4+ age rating on the global Apple App Store scale. In Brazil (ClassInd), the rating is “AL”, indicating content suitable for all ages.

13. Encryption

The app itself does not implement or expose any cryptographic functionality. All network traffic to Amplitude and RevenueCat is protected by industry‑standard TLS in transit and encryption at rest on their servers. No additional encryption mechanisms are used within the application.
